Over 100 years ago, petai root was used by aboriginal natives as a precious treasure. They went into the jungle to collect the petai root. They then dried it so that it will last longer. When they want drink it, they boiled the dried petai root in boiling hot water to make it as nutritious drink for better health. In year 1980, with the combination of Lim family secret recipe and petai root, they produced effective healthy drink which is petai root tea of interest to help poor people, especially those with diabetes and high blood pressure.  In year 1990, Lim family corporate with Kam Khoon Enterprise to produced more quantity of petai root due to introduction of new technology and quality control. Those factors help to increase the efficacy of the petai root tea. In addition, of their success, other company tried to duplicate their product. At the same time, they practice business philosophy that customer is always right, sincere and respect. This helped them to be well known in market because of customers’ support.
In the beginning of year 2011, Lim family merged with Wan Lam Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. Wan Lam Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. injected capitals, contributed on sales, services and management experience. They hope to develop and launch more new products to diversify the company’s products. With the strategy and vision, the company tends to expand to the next level. The Lim family hand over their production of petai root tea skills to Wan Lam Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. which served as the company production and quality consultant. They hope their product is use around the world to help others to improve their health.

将3公升清水煮沸后，加入2包遠南肉骨茶袋及两至三大整粒蒜头( 无需剥皮或压碎）续以大火烹至可闻到肉骨茶香味，再加入肉类（鸭，鸡各类肉类皆行），2汤匙生抽，2汤匙黑酱油及少许盐巴，以慢火烹煮45分钟至1小时后，即可烹用美味的远南肉骨茶。
(可依个人喜好加入鲍鱼，海参，冬菇等以增加不同风味）遠南肉骨茶以独家传统秘方配制，色香味美，可助提神，又益脾胃。

After boiling for 3 liter of water, add 2 packets of WAN LAM bak kut teh herb pack and also 2 to 3 whole pieces of garlic ( do not need to peel the skin or grind them). Continue to boil till you can smell the aroma of the bak kut teh. Then, add some meats such as duck meat, chicken meat, etc. Also add 2 teaspoons of soy sauce, 2 teaspoon of black soy sauce and a little bit of table salt. After that, use small fire to cook
for 40-50 minutes and the serving is ready to serve your taste buds.Note: You can also add in abalone, sea cucumber, mushrooms etc to enhance the flavor to the soup.
